1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons olive oil For the Bang Bang Sauce:
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
1 tablespoon honey (or a low-carb sweetener alternative)
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
In a bowl, combine garlic powder, black pepper, chili powder, garlic salt, and onion powder. Mix well.
Add olive oil to the spice mixture and stir until a paste-like consistency is achieved.
Place chicken pieces in a separate bowl and add the spice and oil mixture. Toss the chicken to coat it evenly with the spices.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for a few minutes.
Thread the chicken pieces onto skewers, leaving a small gap between each piece to allow air circulation.
Place the skewers in the preheated air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the chicken is cooked through and nicely browned.
While the chicken is cooking, prepare the Bang Bang sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, honey (or low-carb sweetener alternative), and rice vinegar in a small bowl.
Once the chicken skewers are cooked, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
Serve the Bang Bang chicken skewers with the prepared sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy these flavorful and spicy chicken skewers as a delicious appetizer or main course, packed with the perfect blend of seasonings and cooked to perfection in the air fryer.
